Environment

We provide, in collaboration with the Cantonal Services, technical-specialist support in the planning, design, and implementation of public and private works, ensuring the compatibility of interventions with the environmental and regulatory context.

Our activities include the preparation of environmental impact reports, assistance in authorisation procedures, and environmental site supervision, encompassing monitoring, construction phase controls, and support to the Site Management. Part of our work concerns the management of contaminated sites: from environmental characterisation to the design of remediation measures, site rehabilitation, and the management of polluted materials.

Furthermore, thanks to the experience gained by our staff during the excavation works for the Monte Ceneri Base Tunnel as part of AlpTransit, our environment division also operates in the field of spring water monitoring.
